Can't focus. Srsly can't focus... Tried reading my botany book... test Thursday... I got through about 5 pages in the past 45 minutes.
Why is it people are so stubborn when it comes to their own health?? The cleaning lady that usually cleans for us has been having trouble getting around-her knees sting and hurt really bad and it got to the point that Monday she had to call it a day and go to the Dr. Well, he gave her some muscle relaxers and an anti-inflammatory to help with the pain and she seems to be fine..the Dr. told her she was working way too hard and needed to chill out. But she's not the type to do that. She doesn't sit down and watch a TV show every now and then. She's always on the go 24/7. Well, she's not doing what the Dr said and says that she's fine. She's coming back to finish her cleaning today I think and if she starts feeling bad again, Mom's gonna put her foot down and tell her to go home and elevate her legs. But our cleaning lady isn't the type to sit still..she does stuff for everyone! She has this 5,000 sq. ft. house that she cleans every Wednesday and Thursday with all hard wood floors and it's driving her nuts to clean it! She should drop that house but she's too stubborn to do so cause she needs the $$ for her kids and grandchildren. But one of these days she gonna go too far and hurt herself really bad and not be able to clean for us anymore.

The professor postponed the quiz and taught us tricks to do the integral problems. He went over the theorem. I need a smiley for a "big sigh of relief." Anywho, all I've got now is history and I'll be done for the day!
I'm in lab lecture. It sucks. The guy who's subbing the first few minutes of lab talks more slowly than most people I've met. It's been 1 minute and already I want him to shut up.
How the HELL am I supposed to do any actual development work when I'm stuck in f**king meetings all Day LONG!?!?!?! Hayzoos Christy on a stick, it makes no sense whatsoever. I'm just ready for things to get bk to normal around my house. Why is it people can't wake up to save their lives and expect us to wait on them hand and foot when they do decide to get on up? I don't understand some people.
Just remembered this one: Why, oh why, does my mother feel the need to blurt out whatever she feels like saying in unhushed tones, about the other kids on my sons' teams? Last Sunday during one of the indoor soccer games, she said "That kid's useless", loud enough to be heard by the kid's parents who were a row or two behind her. Luckily, the kid's dad gave her a piece of his mind in the parking lot, after the game, and left me out of it! In truth, the kid IS useless on a soccer field, but ya just don't say that out loud!!!!
The internet in the dorms isn't working. We can detect the network and we can "connect" to it, but we can't get IP addresses. That means we can't do online homework there.
I hate having a test over K, pKa, Ka, pKb, Kb, Ksp, Kc, and any other K I might have forgotten. K and Kc are for Q and equilibrium constants. Ka and Kb deal with acids and bases in aqueous solution. Ksp is a solubility constant, I think... pKa and pKb are related to pH, pOH It's a good thing half the test is gonna be over pH. It doesn't get much easier than pH.
I hate stupid drivers! This afternoon, this dumb meathead in a newer truck was in the turning lane and I was coming back to the office after running an errand for the business. Well, this moron is half in and half out of the turning lane. He looks back but he doesn't look ahead of him(I was ahead). That moron almost mowed me down cause he was too stupid to look where he was going! And he did a U-turn in the turning lane! Why is it older people drive like idiots!?!
Gah! Stupid drivers! On any given drive on Oahu, you will witness at least three acts of mind-boggling stupidity. On my morning commute, the highway exit has a stop sign at the bottom of the ramp. There's a short (75 yards or so) merge lane to get you onto the secondary road. So a non-retarded driver stops at the sign, looks for a traffic opening, and then accelerates down the merge lane and into traffic. But because this is Hawaii, there is about a 50-50 chance that on any given morning, someone will roll through the stop sign and down to the end of the merge lane, where they will stop and be completely unable to get onto the other road. So then you're fucked, because even though having one car length less for the merge isn't a deal breaker, trying to merge past a stopped car is a recipe for catastrophe.
I almost got creamed big time yesterday. I was fixing to turn left at an intersection and where I turn there is a yield sign. Well, I didn't realize I had to yield to two different lanes of traffic and almost got mowed down by a teenager! :o So I guess I was the idiot driver there. God was watching over me yesterday. But I got home safetly..there was just a lot of traffic yesterday for some reason and I was running an errand to get something mailed to the co-boss(why he doesn't change his damn address I'll never know..). Now I know to be sure to yield to BOTH lanes of traffic!!!!
My vet irritated me the other day. My dog was really sick and having diarehha and the girl declined me bringing my dog in cause it "wasn't serious". I told her: well, it's not your dog doing the mess now is it? I may have been touche with her but damn, she declined me bringing my dog in cause they were closing shortly and nobody would be there to watch the boarded dogs over the weekend. How the hell are they supposed to feed them?? Let the poor things STARVE?!?!?!?! I'm complaining to my vet Thursday when I take my dog in for her x-ray and I am gonna tell him that I was very tempted to take her to Dr. Brown since obviously they weren't gonna help me. GRRR!!! Why do vets have to be like that? When it's not their dog they make no big deal out of it. But since they thought it was nothing, then I didn't care either. Next time I am demanding to talk to the vet.
Cleaned everything up today. OUCH!! My back is hurting. Every drawer is emptied out, the closet is empty, and everything I brought to college is on my bed. I've just gotta go through my shelf and find a way to pack up all the little odds and ends I've got up there. My parents are coming in about 2 and a half hours. It feels good to have everything almost ready for them just to take and drive home, but damn, it's been a long, long, long day already, and I'm not even done!
Man I just found out our office manager is going on vacation the 24th of July and I'm gonna be stuck here doing her dirty work til she gets back the 29th or 30th! She's going to Las Vegas for her 25th wedding anniversary. I'm VERY envious cause I never go anywhere or do anything exciting. So I'm gonna be doing her crap plus my crap after next Thursday. I ain't looking forward to it either.
