The imprint that was the home of Static, Icon, Hardware, and others is returning. Story. I enjoyed the hell out of Icon back in the 90s when it was being published. And the Static Shock cartoon was pretty good. Looking forward to this.
Excellent news! I'm a fanboy of both DC and Marvel, but both of them seem to acquire other comic lines and then just shit all over them before they relegate them to the dustbin. About the only one that they seemed to actually manage to integrate well was the old Charleston comics and Shazam. They've acquired some really good properties and killed them, like Milestone, Wildstorm, Malibu, and many others.
I never really got into Milestone during its original comic run and know pretty much zip about any of the characters other than having seen a number of Static Shock episodes. I hope the resurgence leads to movie and TV series of the characters, because chances are I and a lot of people like me are not going to be picking up individual issues or trades at the comic store, but we would be open to seeing them in live action or animation form on the big screen or on HBO Max or what have you.
