He's butthurt over them not publishing his book. As part of the lawsuit, the book and the comments from his editor (who is pro-Trump) have been entered into evidence. Which means that they're publicly available. So, someone on Twitter has gone through and posted many of the choice editorial comments. I'm just going to tag @garamet in this thread, because I'm sure she'll find it entertaining. Here's a sample: There's about 18 posts in the thread which deal directly with Milo's book, and they make for some fun reading.
We have more public evidence of it. He has been speaking for some time now and he has always proven he was dumb as a stump.
I gotta wonder though, where are those editor's notes on Anne Coulter's fucking books? She's an evolution denying creationist wackaloon on TOP of being a trickle down believer, bloodthirsty war hawk, and class bigot. Her toxic shit sails right through to the printing press unscathed.
I don't think you give Milo enough credit. I'm sure that even if he had heard of Irving, he'd have done the same thing. We are, after all, talking about a gay man, who is opposed to gay marriage, and yet is married to another man.
Had to look this one up because I'd never heard of him.Simon and Shuster reneged on the book deal because of his sick comments about relationships with underage boys. It's also why he lost his job with Breitbart. He doesn't have a case
Yeah, I remember that, he was on Joe Rogan's podcast talking about being underage and "dating" an older guy and was in serious denial about being taken advantage of. Dude needs some serious therapy.
Between this comment and the Alabama debacle, conservatives ought to stop pretending they care about protecting babies with anti abortion laws if they won't disavowed cretins like these.
It's not like they can come right out and say "we hate women". No, they gotta dress it up in "morality". Even in the fuckin' sufferagette days, they had to dress it up in "ohhhh, we looovve yooouu. Slaving at the stove is a kiiiindness to youuuu. La-la-la-laa!".
I'm marking student assignments right now, and the temptation to paste some of these comments in is overwhelming. Possibly I shouldn't mark after a few gins? At the least, I'm showing these the next time students complain about feedback.
So often I get similar comments on my draft pleadings. Less black dick jokes. No more calling opposing counsel ugly.
The Handmaid's Tale gives a terrific insight into how that kind of thinking is woven together to create the free space for men while also demeaning the women they wish to subjugate by cracking down on them as "immoral."
