I don't hate him, but he does need help. I would be in favor of him receiving proper mental health care.
You might have forgotten about him but you had definitely heard of Milo as not that long ago you posted multiple times in a thread about him, attacking the college students and 'leftists' who were protesting him being invited to speak at Berkeley. https://wordforge.net/index.php?thr...s-riot-over-speech.112309/page-3#post-2931385
I know about him through Joe Rogan. He just says shit to get reactions out of people. He’s like a child screaming the n-word over and over on a video game voice chat. It’s just shock value, but he treats it like a political movement to protect free speech. It’s not free speech, he just wants to be an asshole without social backlash. It’s pathetic. I was upset Rogan bought into it. He’s usually not into this shit.
Oh, where the fuck have YOU been!? He's had all kinds of dipshits on just because they're anti-SJW. Stefan Molyneux springs to mind. Although, Rogan finally soured on him, I think. Molyneux hates women so much, he created a whole batshit conspiracy narrative that Robin Williams killed himself because of his ex-wives*, and it pissed Rogan off, because he knew Robin. He had the fucker on like 10 times before he figured out he was crazy though. *case you didn't know, Williams really killed himself because he had both MS, and a dementia akin to Alzheimer's, and he was a goner anyway, and didn't want to suffer or be a burden.
He didn’t used to, this has been a more recent trend. I just skip those. It’s a bunch of white dude bros complaining about minorities wanting equal treatment. It’s all 20 year old “YouTube professors” ranting about no one takes them seriously.
Well, Sebastian Gorka has just joined the same Canadian alt-right website that pays Milo for articles, so perhaps Milo can ask "Doctor" Nazi for some advice.
Do you often base your world views on works of fiction? I am reminded of my freshmen year in college where the professor taught English "from a Latino perspective". The course mostly consisted of buying crappy books he himself had written as well as two books from his "Latino Activist" best friend. I guess no one else would buy it so he was forced to make college kids buy it. Anyway much of it was poorly written junk fiction of a plucky honest illegal alien wetback and all the evil white people who try to repress him. He would frequently claim this was how the real world worked and he would get angry when I would point out it was a work of fiction, not real life, and if he wanted his claim about "this is how the world works" then maybe he ought to document real life examples instead of writing subpar fiction.
If that's your standard, burn "Atlas Shrugged", and if you already have, then you'll be depressed how many of the people you get your bullshit from haven't.
I am not nor have I ever been a fan of Atlas Shrugged nor anything else by that horrible woman as you should well know by now. Slow learner?
Says the guy with cherry-picking eyeballs. Here, try to absorb the rest of the post again. Even if you forsake Rand, some right-winger you fangirl for hasn't. You're getting the poo on your tongue no matter what.
Yeah, we should give sloppy all-over-the-face kisses to someone who thought rapacious greed was morally justified, and resources belonged to whomever exploited them best, line on a map be damned, so plundering nations was hunky dory. Poor little misunderstood marshmallow teddy bear. *Sad violins* *Sounds of crowds of children sobbing*
I'm not even a fan of hers, I just don't think she's the evil person that people like you seem to think she is. If anything, she's a product of the socialism she grew up oppressed by.
*Fantasy world rep from Captain X* Fantasy that that's what she believed? Wrong. Youtube her interview with Phil Donahue, it's all in there. Fantasy that we should give her sloppy kisses? Yes, that was sarcasm.
Policy makers embraced her shit, and poverty was inflicted, and blood was spilled as a result. If blood on your hands doesn't equal evil, then I don't know what else is.
*Fantasy world rep from X again* Oh, Reagan didn't make Alan Greenspan chairman of the fed? Alan Greenspan wasn't her third in command after her boyfriend? Oh, wait, both of those things were in fact things. Learn your history, moron.
Yeah, Rand is such a horrible person because others liked what she wrote about and took it to heart. So much worse than Karl Marx and the millions of people that died as a result of his philosophy.
One day you're gonna get the "just because X did Y horrible thing, doesn't excuse Z" idea, but I see we're gonna have to lube up the Demolisher again this time round.
Yeah, remember when the teachings of Marx destroyed our economy, and put a dictator in the white house, and starved most of us to death with bad agricultural planning? Boy, I sure was sad when I died. And it hurt too. Oh, wait, no, none of that happened, because that shit doesn't apply to this country. I'm sure glad I'm not conservative, and stupid, or I'd think the "yeah, but commies!", argument was a mic drop. If my brain ever gets that damaged, pump me full of morphine until I fade away.
The difference is that nobody in power in the United States takes Marx even remotely seriously, while Rand's disciples are basically running Congress.
Sen. Ron Johnson called Atlas Shrugged his "foundational book." Speaker of the House Paul Ryan once called Ayn Rand "the reason I got involved in public service" and has been known to give out copies of Atlas Shrugged to his staff as Christmas presents. Sen. Rand Paul has quoted her at length on the floor of the Senate. Where are the congressmen genuflecting before the ghost of Karl Marx, outside of the fever dreams of tinfoil-hat Republicans who see communists hiding in every closet and under every bed?
And yet none of them actually live up to objectivism, and Rand Paul is hardly evil either. As for fans of Marx, how about Bernie Sanders, just as an obvious example. How about all those people who had all kinds of praise and kind words to say for Fidel Castro when he died? Honestly really just anyone that fancies themselves a socialist.
So if he were a person that you liked you would still be arguing definitions instead of the substance behind the comment you're obviously capable of understanding?
