For all of you who are fans of Mystery Science Theater 3000, you need to check out Rifftrax.com.

Mike Nelson, Bill Corbett (Crow) and Kevin Murphy (Tom Servo) rip on current movies. It sucks not to see them sitting in front of the screen doing sight gags from time to time, but the spirit is EXACTLY the same as the show.

I've watched the Star Wars EP3 so far, and laughed so hard that I was hurting.

Tonight, we're doing one of the Harry Potter films and Transformers.

Episodes are about $4 per movie and it's worth every penny. Show your support so we can get more!

The best one is The Fifth Element.

Edit: no it's not, I meant to say Battlefield Earth.

I have the Matrix Reloaded Rifftrax, and I highly recommend it. Hilarious all the way through.

    Really?

I just finished Harry Potter and the secret of some cave or something.

That movie was PAINFULLY long. If I knew that it was 2 and a half fucking hours long, I might have done that another time. It was fucking brutal. :jayzus:

The Rifftrax on that was pretty good, but not nearly as good as EP3. I also bought Transformers tonight but we haven't watched it yet.

Right now, we're watching the ones that have Mike, Kevin and Bill only, because it's pure MST3K. They can do the group shit that they did on the show better when everybody shows up. I wish like hell they would all three always be there to riff them.

So, Fifth Element is Mike by himself? I see that it's highly rated, but I'm not sure how I feel with him by himself.

    Does it really work?

Wait I had a brainfart when I posted that earlier. By Fifth Element, I meant Battlefield Earth. The riff on that one is hilarious, and it makes the movie watchable despite being utter shit.

The Fifth Element riff is decent, but you're right to be suspicious of single-person riffs. They're generally kinda slow.

Edit: Other good ones are Troll 2, Transformers, Spiderman 3, Willy Wonka, and either of the Matrix movies.

I watched the ST VI one...it was pretty good. I noticed one thing that was odd though.

The subtitles were gone...ALL of the subtitles, including the Klingon to english ones. I found that weird since I thought that was part of the film and not a separate track.

Raiders of the Lost Ark is the best one I've heard so far. The Matrix was damn good too.
