Why? This thread is about the special counsel investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election. A few posters engaging in off-topic tangents doesn't change anything.
Mueller Ready to Deliver Key Findings in His Trump Probe, Sources Say Headline isn't quite right. "Almost ready" is more accurate.
There has actually been a lot of big news here lately that's been lost in the wash with Kavanaugh and the election. The long-awaited Roger Stone indictment seems to be imminent, as ex-partner Manafort has been meeting with prosecutors: https://abcnews.go.com/amp/Politics...ort-information-roger-stone/story?id=58572284
https://thehill.com/homenews/house/412077-meadows-calls-on-rosenstein-to-resign-immediately RepublicanS are pretty much panicking over the news that Mueller will resume issuing indictments and releasing a paper on his findings. They all know Trump is guilty so they are reknewing their attacks on the messenger declaring Rosenstein to somehow be untrustworthy for following DoJ guidelines and not helping them derail or corrupt Mueller's investigation. At this point no one should be voting for any Republicans in the upcoming election. This level of corruption and a use of power simply demands the fuckers get buried in a landslide.
Manafort has spent over 50 hours talking with Mueller over the last month, since copping a plea deal. Trump freaked over his WH lawyer talking to Mueller for 30 hours over 90 days.
no, he's not "almost ready" He's likely going to drop a lot more bombshells between now and the time these already scheduled sentencing hearings happen. MAYBE in a year or so he'll be winding down. In an effort to keep the new revelations out of 2020
GOP operative caught attempting to smear Mueller with sexual assault allegations: Burkman is apparently doubling down on it, though.
I don't think so...at least I hope not. I'd rather see him neutered during the midterms and then beaten in 2020 by somebody that won't pardon him. If he broke any laws, lock him up then.
Agreed, however it's not going to happen. I maintain, again, that no former, present, or future President of the United States will ever see the inside of a jail cell. The Office of the President of the United States of America is not going to allow that particular can of worms to be opened.
The Trump types always accuse others of the things they plan to do themselves, so in retrospect, this shouldn't surprise us.
Seems there are compelling reasons to believe Mueller subpeoned the president back in August and they've been fighting it in court ever since. https://www.politico.com/magazine/amp/story/2018/10/31/has-robert-mueller-subpoenaed-trump-222060
The reason Mueller hasn't released any kind of report is because once he does and it's exposed there isn't any credible evidence of wrongdoing, he will be crucified in the conservative press, immediately fired along with his entire staff, and his career will be over. He can hit the libtard lecture circuit and get his honorary degree from some libtard training factory.
I don't think there's anything unflattering about Trump that Mueller could say that you would believe.
I'm not a Trump fan, I think he's a buffoon (though not unintelligent). I think there's plenty of negative things to say about him. But I also think this entire Russian collusion/conspiracy narrative is a crock, and this neverending "investigation" a total sham. I think Trump should have called this guy's bluff months ago and fired him and his cronies.
As a matter of fact, a number of court documents related to the special counsel investigation are available online. Surely someone with your legal expertise won't need any help navigating them, so have at it. https://www.justice.gov/sco?utm_sou...il&utm_campaign=newsletter_axiosam&stream=top
Perhaps you can point out which of these alleged documents proves that Trump "colluded" with Russians to win the election, and that Russian interference was in fact the deciding factor in Trump's election?
Perhaps you can point out whoever sold you those drugs, because I think we should get you your money back.
The extent to which the Russians were acting in coordination with members of the Trump campaign has yet to be determined, at least publically. The investigation continues. The other question about the deciding factor in the election is well beyond its scope and irrelevant.
Translation: you got nothin. Just like you've had nothin for the past two years, despite all the hysterics and heavy breathing. And Trump just keeps on winning, baby!
