OK, who is Trump targeting at the State Department? Trump has, of course, not filled key posts at State and a number of officials have resigned over it. There's also the fact that a ton of workers there signed a dissent protesting his Muslim ban early last year. And some Trumpanistas have suggested that the pre-Trump SD under John Kerry had a hand in the Steele Dossier. But my money's on Tillerson. Accuse the State Department of meddling and put Tillerson's neck on the block for not doing enough to "purge" the perpetrators.
You may remember that during the SotU speech Trump said he wanted the power to fire government workers at will so he could have us return to a partisan spoils system.
[Troy McClure] You might remember it from such films as Look Who's Still Oinking, The President's Neck is Missing, and The Revenge of Abe Lincoln! [/TM]
https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.usatoday.com/amp/303240002 Even USA Today is tearing up the Nunes Memo and Trump's efforts to use it to fire Rosenstein pointing out the many falsehoods and how the timeline just doesn't work even according to the Nunes memo itself. A good read.
Mike Cernovich is worried that the memo will panic the FBI and they will frame and assassinate him and Alex Jones. Because yes, when Republicans are panicked they go out and shoot random insane hobos, so why wouldn't the FBI?
https://www.cnn.com/2018/02/03/politics/donald-trump-memo/index.html Trump shows just how detached from reality he has become. Someone needs to do an intervention and put him in a nice, safe padded cell.
I mean her job is to literally steam Trump's pants while he's wearing them, she has nowhere to go but down in her career. Obstruction of justice charges might make her life more interesting.
Yes, that is precisely the goal with this type of propaganda the GOP is engaging in--flood everyone with disinformation overload to keep everyone busy figuring out which things are lies and which aren't.
@Zombie might want to wipe some of Trump's jizz off of his lips. https://www.cnn.com/2018/02/03/politics/memo-dossier-christopher-steele-carter-page/index.html Nunes admits he never read the FISA Warrent because .He got everything about it wrong. https://www.cnn.com/videos/politics/2018/02/03/devin-nunes-fox-gop-memo-sot-erin.cnn Oh, and he never once read the classified information he claimed to be summerizing and just about every claim he made about people's testimony was false and untrue. Don't you feel stupid now? I mean even the FBI said just about everything in the false Nunes memo was fake yet you were such a gullible partisan hack you tried to slurp that puddle of shit up any way.
March 5. 2017: Four Pinocchios? Trump’s ‘evidence’ for Obama wiretap claims sketchy, anonymously sou WaPo's factcheckers give both Trump and the fake Nunes memo four Pinocchios. @Zombie must be so proud about believing that horse shit. That guy is obviously a gullible mark so maybe I should offer to sell him ocean front land in Nebraska?
Eh, the content of the memo isn't really important to the Trump team. What matters is having something they can point to claiming it undermines Mueller, knowing their supporters will believe it without question.
https://www.motherjones.com/politic...sit-the-us-even-though-he-was-legally-barred/ Trump recently snuck in the heads of all three Russian intelligence agencies into the US and had meetings with them. At least one was under sanctions and legally barred from entering the US. Also it is worth noting that Trump refused to impliment sanctions for Russia's election meddling which 98% of Congress voted to impose. This was an illegal act, simply ignoring laws he does not like, and can you imagine what the Republicans would have said if Obama had done this? Yet for Trump there is nothing but silence out of them. Dead silence.
https://www.google.com/amp/www.newsweek.com/trump-investigation-russia-nra-help-798438?amp=1 Isn't it funny how so many Russians, including the head of the Russian Central Bank, suddenly wanted to donate so much money to the NRA for Trump's campaign? Isn't it funny how the CIA cought so many Russian embassy staff getting millions and millions and millions of unusual money transfers to the US? https://www.google.com/amp/www.newsweek.com/russia-finance-wire-transfers-711606?amp=1 It looks like Steve Bannon was right and this is a money laundering case where Russian money poured in for Trump and Trump made sure it all got laundered into his campaign. No wonder the man is so scared of Mueller and is desperate to do anything to stop the truth from coming out.
Someone correct me if I am wrong about any of this, because the whole thing has become really confusing. This memo: was written by a partisan hack who didn't read the sources he claims he is using the Republicans specifically voted against including contradicting information the memo doesn't say Trump or anyone in his team is innocent it doesn't say any of the information used to attain the warrant was false it just says the sources of that information were close to the Democrats and Hillary, which is perfectly legal; and that that information in turn wasn't included when attaining the warrant, which is also perfectly legal even if the warrant was attained illegally, which it wasn't, that doesn't make Trump innocent in the original investigation even if Trump was innocent in the original investigation, that has nothing to do with what Mueller is investigating now Mueller wasn't involved in any of the things the memo talks about
Carter Page was on Chris Hayes' show last fall and said something interesting. At about the 7 minute mark he begins to say how he'll be glad when Speaker Ryan allows the details about the FISA warrant and the dossier to come out. So last October this was all planed, long before any "memo" was written.
I would nit pick and say the sources for the fisa request were not close to any political source. We know now for a fact that the main source was an Austrlian diplomat to whom Papandopolus drunkly bragged to about Russian hacking and Trump knowing all about it and we know the second biggest source was the FBI investigation into Carter Page being a spy for the Russian FSB going back to 2010. The Steele dossier was a distant third which is very different from the Numes claim that everything was some how completely based upon tge Steele dossier and therefor everything, to quote that drool imbecile @Zombie, flowing from the investigation was some how poison fruit. We know with aboslute certainity that is not the case. Apparebtly, everyone but Zombie always knew that to be true. I guess he is just kind of stupid.
I've reported you for posting highly classified information. On an unrelated note, congratulations on your appointment to the Department of the Interior.
