BREAKING - "Religion of Peace": Krystallnacht, USA? - Five Muslims Beat Jewish Rabbi in Brooklyn

Yesterday, at 6:00 p.m. Eastern Time, four to five Muslims viciously attacked Rabbi Uria Ohana in Brooklyn, New York, while shouting, "Allahu Akbar."
Rabbi Ohana, assistant head rabbi of Chabad-Lubavitch of Massachusetts, was about to get on the F-Train at Fourth Avenue and Ninth Street in Brooklyn.
The young Muslim assailants grabbed rabbi Ohana's yarmulke (skullcap), and when he went to them to get it back, they beat him and shouted, "Allahu Akbar." One of the Muslim attackers ran away into the street and was hit by a car (G-d works in mysterious ways). He was arrested by police. But three to four other Muslim assailants--whom you can bet will attack other Jews--escaped and are free.

I just got off the phone with Rabbi Shimon Hecht, President of the Rabbinical Committee of Brownstone, Brooklyn, and corresponded with Rabbi Shea Hecht, Chairman of the National Committee for the Furtherance of Jewish Education, both of whom gave me the details. They are about to hold a press conference, this evening, to urge New York City Police Department to find and apprehend the other attackers.
Tomorrow night, the Jewish holiday of Purim begins at sundown. As Rabbi Shea Hecht said:

On the heels of the Holiday of Purim, in which we celebrate the downfall of all anti-Semitism and hatred, we are calling on the police to beef up security in our neighborhoods to end such anti-Semitic attacks.​

Hmmm . . . Where is CAIR et al. on this? Looking the other way.
Remember, it's too late to be saying, "If we don't fight them over there, we'll have to fight them here."
They're here. And they're in fighting form.
Now I know why a Muslim titled his movie, "West Bank Brooklyn." Writer/Director Ghazi Albuliwi said, "It's not a state. It's a state of mind."
Yup, a barbaric state of mind that spans all state borders.

This is a terrible incident, but considering the millions of allgegedly evil Muslims living in America, one beating isn't that bad. I notice you don't start threads when every Jew is attacked, just when the perpetrators happen to be from one of your favorite groups.

Considering there isn't really any reason for Jews and Muslems living in America to come into violent conflict, the story is significant. Clearly, the motive for the attack was purely of a religious nature, and one has to wonder where that attitude is coming from...

Well libruls did tell us this was going to happen because of Mel Gibson's movie.

Clearly? I'm not so sure. Evil Muslims carrying out jihad don't beat people, they murder them. If a gang of Muslims attacked a Rabbi for religious reasons and he isn't dead, there's something else going on there.

This is also Brooklyn, a place Midnight has never been, and which has become increasingly Balkanized in recent years. Someone should introduce Midnight to the Russian mafia...

Did you miss the part where he's not dead, despite how easy it'd be for a group of kids to kill a single, unarmed man?

What's your point? You're saying that because the victim is alive it was not religiously motivated? Despite the fact that the attackers were screaming "God is Great!" while beating him?

I don't believe it one bit. This would be news over here.

My point is that their words suggest "religiously motivated attack," but their actions scream "bunch of stupid kids."

Uh, well...

Religious groups have been beating each other up and killing each other since just about the beginning of time. Hell, most of the time they don't even need much more than "But...but...he's different" to supposedly justify it. This ain't anything new.

See, they went out looking for a fight, and probably just beat up the first guy who was obviously of any religion other than their own. So yeah, it was religiously motivated. But I'd argue that it likely wasn't really targeted.

Additionally, this is no different than a couple of hicks going out and deciding to beat the shit out of the first gay man they see. The conflict isn't there because there's some legitimate beef, it's just because there's a difference.

Not a week goes by. There are 4-5 million people in Brooklyn, and most of 'em hate somebody.

And, as Tom Lehrer pointed out "everybody hates the Jews."

MF should really check his sources before quoting an article. Amusing that on the rare occasion he actually posts the story and not just the link, it turns out to be a highly inaccurate report.
