How is it that the police can take the time to choke a dude to death for selling loose cigarettes while he is surrendering to them because you want to be safe, but you cannot put an extra bullet or two in a guy shooting an AR15 assault rifle at you and screaming he will not let jews live after shooting up a house of worship where families with babies were? Police were shot by this guy, and maybe they were shot because some actually tried to let this guy live.

Unarmed black people cannot be safe from cops shooting them because they cannot risk their lives, but an active white shooter who is shooting cops can somehow be taken alive?

if there was a scale of, say, 1-50 from right to left, Bill was and is somewhere between 20-25 and Hill somewhere closer to 30. The problem is that since Newt, the perception of the center has moved. What was thought to be around 25 in 1990 is not perceived to be somewhere in the high 30's while 15 (then) is supposedly the "middle" - which is why Democrats furiously pander to the right of their own base because they have been convinced (inaccurately) that the centrist position is a place that was solidly right wing 30 years ago.

For example - the "amnesty" immigration bill Reagan signed in '86 was more or less the centrist compromise. Any Republican would tell you that the exact same bill, if it were proposed today, was wild progressive socialist bullshit.

Another example - "Obamacare" is basically the Heritage Foundation's answer to "HillaryCare" from the early 90's - but the GOP spend a decade schilling for votes on the notion that it was a socialist takeover of health care.

Nobody is calling this terrorism if only because there is no verified proof that it was textbook politically or ideologically motivated. Once there is verification of his motivations (not speculation or hunches) it will most likely be considered terrorism. But the news is using the 97 year old woman as an example of how cowardly this shit-bag is.
