Need help converting date in spreadsheet.

    I have a spreadsheet where apparently 39087 is equivelent to 1/6/2006. Can anyone tell me what date format the 39087 is? The number was entered manually on the spredsheets, but is used in the spreadsheet calculations. I'm trying to update the spreadsheets for use now.

    Number of days since 1/1/1900 is what it looks like.

    hmmm....39087 days before 1/6/2006 is 12/31/1898

    Update...it was the excel number of days since 1900 thing...the guy had the wrong year in the regular date column and that was screwing me up
