One year ago today, 4 Americans died in the service of their country in Benghazi. Our Dear Leader has yet to answer what they were doing there and why no rescue was attempted.

    Never forget Benghazi!

So, you still think Benghazi is comparable to the Iraq war?

No, it is Muad Dib's conspiracy theories which do not matter.

It is not a conspiracy that President Obama was sitting on his ass doing nothing valuable while four Americans were murdered.

Including the first U.S. ambassador murdered in a third of a century.

    Four Americans died.

Over twenty were wounded. Some severely.

The CIA has harassed survivors repeatedly.

The administration has changed the names of the survivors in attempts to hide them from Congress. The administration is also working overtime to prevent survivors from talking.

    But....... LOOK OVER THERE!!!!!!

GEORGE ZIMMERMAN HAS BEEN ARRESTED AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And yet, if there were a media blackout, how would you have access to this information? :chris:

Clearly either you or your news source can't distinguish between national and international news. If it's the latter, I hope you'll take your complaint up with them.

The kiddies are confused by the Syria situation. They were expecting to see things blowing up by now, and since no one but Dayton really wanted that this time, they were all set to declare it yet another :beartm: SCFoaMF!!!1!

Since it hasn't happened yet - and may not - they're marking time while they figure out how to spin whatever happens into a :beartm: SCFoaMF!!!1!

Because Muad, particularly, is on record for having despised the Bush administration. So where are his threads for all the Americans who died in embassy attacks on his watch? :mystery:

    Who said that?

I think my opposition to the Iraq war was pretty evident from Day 1.

    Certainly true.

But you've missed nine other milestones so far this year. May we expect you to start a thread for tomorrow's?

Hillary getting elected would be a slimy circumvention of the two term limit. :bailey:

But they're slimeballs anyway, so I fully expect a run from her in '16.

    Back on topic though:

    Obama lied. People died. :borg:

Non-Issue. The whole thing was about a video released by Ayman al-Zawahiri, and not a terrorist attack, that it happened on 9/11 is pure coincidence. Only Obama haters see it as anything else. :dendroica:

Besides only four Americans died* what's the big deal?

Anyone who is bothered by the presidency of Barack Obama should be scared sh*tless by a possible Hillary Clinton presidency.

Hillary would basically be the Obama policies with none of the compromises or second guessing. Don't like Obama's drone warfare or plans to attack Syria? Hillary Clinton would be sending in B-52s where Obama sends a single Hellfire from a Reaper drone.

There is a reason that in John Birmingham's famous trilogy (Axis of Time) he named the aircraft carrier after Hillary Clinton.

Where's the thread for September 12, 2006 and the dozen other recent terrorist attacks against Americans that Muad's conveniently ignoring and that most of you don't even remember?

    Oh, do fuck off.

The September 12, 2006 attack on the U.S. embassy in Syria did not result in any American deaths, and especially not a U.S. ambassador.

I didn't say that. The topic was the Benghazi attack, where Americans did die.

You introduced a non sequitur example to try and prove your point. And you failed. Nice try, though.

Ah, so only attacks where Americans died should be memorialized. Then, as I said upthread, Muad's skipped a bunch of 'em. Why do you suppose that is?

Garamet has made it clear on a number of occasions that she considers American citizens to be beneath her. So it's no surprise that she feels nothing when they are ruthlessly murdered....unless it helps to promote her anti-gun agenda.

It does. I'm part of the human race. That means a great deal to me. That you and Black Dove agree to being part of only a subset of the human race is...telling.

And that still doesn't answer why Muad is ignoring American deaths in other terrorist attacks and only focusing on Benghazi.

Why is no one taking that up with him?

That is something people say online to keep their liberal cred going or in cocktail parties (if they still have those).

It isn't how virtually anyones true sentiments actually work IRL.
