I'm not concerned with how hard it is to make something or how pretty it looks on the plate. The bottom line is how it tastes and most of the pansy ass fru-fru shit that I've tried in my day ain't fit for human consumption.

I'm a devotee of the Food Network and I'm a huge fan of complex flavors, but half of everything they show shouldn't even be on the same plate. Boiled catfish in a ginger sauce?

However, Collard Greens covered in a nice wombat urine and crested titmouse bile sauce is to die for! The chain restaurants just can't compare.
