Hmm... http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=364x2019632 Looks like around that time, Al Gore and Melissa Ethridge shared a 14-track playlist on the Celebrity Playlist feature there and if Al had that loaded in his ipod it's actually feasible "Dear Mr President" would have been played. Gore loves the Beatles and Barry Manilow...he said so on Oprah, (odd to see none of that here, though it looks to be advertising for his shit movie more than a normal playlist), Pink seems out there for him, but the Ethridge angle here lends possible creedence to the woman's story.
I wish I could fail as well as he did. Guy was Vice-President, got a Nobel Prize and was a big force behind an Academy Awarding winning Documentary. Also holds the record for most guest appearances on Futurama. Whether you agree with him or not, it is hard to call the man a failure. Done pretty well for himself.
^Being a liar and a conniving POS is not something one should aspire to. He only won those things because of the liberal quacks in Hollywood. I'm sure his movie is the only Oscar winner in history to be declared a pack of lies by a judge. Al us a piece of who has once again shown he cares only about himself. Just like his energy sucking house that uses 12 X the energy of the average American home.
Hey, you have to give props to someone who is good at what they do. Like the respect I have for pornstars.
Now that would be ironic. A president and vice president from the same administration getting in trouble for the same sort of thing and getting busted in the same way. The bigger irony is that nothing more will happen to Gore than happened to Clinton, of course, so the real joke is, once again, on the American people.
Gore is no longer a public office holder, so there is no effect to have, other than to damage his reputation, such as it is.
Probably from massage oil, or the chocolates she tried to use to distract him after calling him 'rotund.'
Speaking of Democratic Underground, have you seen this, admin? I thought you might get a kick out of it...:squee: Poor Democratic Underground. Somebody should tell them that if you spend your time in a place where everyone thinks the same, you end up not thinking at all. Thankfully, our admins Lanz, Tamar, O2C, Kyle etc take a much more reality based approach to these kinds of things. The original DU post can be found here.
That since DU is basically one big lie from start to finish, this rule could cause it to implode under the weight of its own hypocrisy?
