Maybe they need to start some sort of rebellion and establish a constitution with a good first Amendment. (and skip 2)
"Performance grief" I've seen the odd news clip of some average Jane/Joe standing outside Buckingham Palace and fucking weeping. Some people need to get a grip. And therapy probably wouldn't hurt, either.
there is that for those of us canucks of a certain age who had grandparents of the queen's age... my earliest memories of my one gran have her with a hairstyle not far from the $2 bills of the time. Military school had a bit of an effect on me too as royalty was fetishized there as part of the whole UE Loyalist schtick of the place. But as an adult you start to put all the pieces together and learn the realities of the age of kings and that legacy, the whole thing got kinda gross other than Scott Thompson's impressions of her. I really hope that by the time Will and Kate ascend that the british monarchy becomes as relevant as the rest of europe's royal lines. They really don't mean much to most people I know, and represent their parents' bad memories in many cases. Pretty sure Americans get more enthused about royal visits than we do...
I wouldn’t want to live my life as a living tourist attraction. If you’ve read God Emperor of Dune, they remind me of the Museum Fremen. Maybe we should call them “Museum Royals”? Pictures of royal newborns also remind me of puppy mills…
Jesus. That swelling looks hella painful. I wonder if that’s part of why he’s such an ass and always grumpy at best.
Fucking idiots queueing for 24 hours to file past a coffin. Other idiots leaving marmalade sandwiches at memorials. The UK is a shambles on so many levels.
There’s definitely something wrong with his hands. Gout, maybe? Would make it super painful to button buttons, move things out of the way on a table. Edit: the pic is 10 years old.
