The Queen wanted to make sure the corgis were kept looking sharp, and Andrew is the best groomer in the family.
Yeah sure, we rejected the monarch some 250 years ago with a violent rebellion and formed a new system of government that serves as an example for the rest of the world, but yeah it's totally a non sequitur for the Queen of England to come to the a joint session of Congress and say, "God bless America." Yep, no big deal. Fuck off. Totally the same as excusing a sneeze.
You’re joking, right? It’s just words. “God”, if he exists, has looked down on America and wondered who shit in his chamber pot. This country, as it currently exists, is not worthy of a blessing from any deity.
King Charles has been a punching bag for anti-royalists for an awfully long time. I'm not going to get into that argument, except to say that living a meaningful life is damn difficult for anyone in that family. He's done his best to be something other than a useless trust fund baby. Like I said, I don't want to get into the argument over whether he's a useless twat. I do think it's only fair to point out that he's tried not to be a useless twat. Whether he has succeeded, I will leave to someone else.
Fun fact (and one that I'm sure will piss @steve2^4 off to no end): The first official announcement of her death came on Twitter. If the social network's good enough for the Royals, it's good enough for the rest of us.
You need to calm the fuck down before @Bill Carson starts to think he caused you to have a pissbaby meltdown. You are going to make the boy feel like a tough guy with your oversensitivity. It is unbecoming of anyone around here to fluff the boy like that, and you need to restrict your activities before you give us all great entertainment by having a fit due to the boy's taunting. However, in case you are already too far gone into your meltdown.
Remind me which one of us is following the other around and responding to their comments? Seems to me that person is the one in the middle of a meltdown, not someone who is bumping an old thread in the wake of new circumstances. YMMV.
