That was incredibly shitty and undermines the legitimate issue of hate crimes and open bigotry that's come out since Trump's campaign.

One Jackie is one too many.

I don't understand your comment, "one Jackie too many." Is that some kind of Jackie Robinson reference?

"Jackie" was the bitch who lied about being raped at her college in an interview with Rolling Stone. Of course, it came out and some idiots were "Yabbut, it could've happened!"

Garbage like that and this shit makes it that much harder for all of us to seek justice.

Ah, thanks for explaining. I followed that story but to me, the most crucial issue in it was a society that was ready to destroy other people for the words of a liar; to me, "Jackie" is nothing more than a liar.

They're liberals, they've been doing these false flag events, and just outright lying about anything, since their tragedy.

Look e.g. at CNN's media critic named Stelter with a new twist on irony, as he cried about 'fake news' while propagating the same, in the form of hundreds of attacks by trump voters that were made up or at least not based on any factual, actual, attacks. [Like quest's thread weeks ago claiming hundreds and hundreds of threats by "trump voters" against trump haters, did anyone other than liberals (predisposed to believing the nastiest possible lies about their opponents) actually believe any of it?]

Point of order, the incidents weren't necessarily perpetrated by Trump voters, though many included pro-Trump slogans. At least 20 were directed against perceived supporters of Trump.

At any rate, this church fire wouldn't have been counted since it occurred before the election. Not sure what happened but it looks like the pro-Trump graffiti was a misdirection, not the reason for staging the fire, so not a true "false flag."

And this is why it is absolutely idiotic to ever stage a lie.

Because partisans on the "other" side - whichever side is other to the particular stunt - will say "Se? you can't trust the lying assholes who don't share my political views!" and withdraw further into their echo chamber - the exact opposite outcome that the original liar was going for.

This is kind of like that Arab woman who claimed Trump supporters attacked her when it was really just her animal husband who beat the shit out of her. No, the animal was not a Trump supporter just a run of the mill violent woman beating muslim animal.

Nova never said it was the "only", so geez, man, don't start arguing like the WF idiotlib left, it (mischaracterizing argument or misquoting position or distorting and then refuting) is one of their more annoying habits in "discussion" here.

^Yep, that's why you have so many still here wiling to participate in an argument with the left. They haven't simply peeled away over the years, often in twos and threes (or simply given up the effort long ago, as a dissatisfying experience) . . .

We've lost just as many decent liberal posters as well.

Or hell, decent people in general who got sick of the partisan BS from people on both sides.

well sure, and you could spend all day every day pointing out the horrible crime of non-muslim Americans too. Lots of people equals lots of bad eggs.

Hell, if I wanted to do the digging I could cite you hundreds of cases of awful crimes committed by ministers and church workers alone in the last year, mostly sexual in nature. Doesn't mean all ministers are animals.

But it does mean that a lot of people who use the same reasoning as Dinner (some of whom, ironically, would condemn him for it) would say that. Just as many people who like Dinner's way of reasoning say that about all police.

It's human nature to like simplistic answers. Having to actually evaluate a person individually, instead of simply judging him (or her) on the basis of a large group, is too much like work. The broader the brush, the quicker you can spread ... whatever it is you want to spread.

I base it on the ideology they profess. Sure, wouldn't it be nice to be able to individually screen and reliably figure out which muslims are terrorists and which are not? Too bad there is no reliable way to do that.

Keeping out all muslims will reliably result in ending muslim terrorism though. See? That is called a reality based solution, something your side just isn't good at.

    Sure.

And other countries can keep all the Americans out because they aren't sure which ones might go nuts and shoot up a primary school or the local movie theater or start looting after a natural disaster. :borg:

Men are slightly under half the population, and account for more than 80 percent of the violent crime arrests in the United States (and over 90 percent of the murderers). Should we be under additional surveillance and control? I mean, safety uber alles, right?

Forgot to ask in my last post:

So, what do you do with the American citizens who get radicalized? Because in case you haven't noticed, I haven't seen too many folks over forty taking to the streets to blow things up, and the Orlando guy was a native born citizen, if I remember correctly.

Sadly, we are stuck with those shit bags as we can't deport them. We should definitely stop making things worse by letting in more terrorists. Yes, that means keeping put all muslims possible.

Terrorism increases as muslim population increases.

No, it will not. No system is 100% reliable, and there are plenty of muslim terrorists who appeared to be normal, law-abiding citizens until they acted. They don't have to come into the country, since they are already here. They don't even have to be muslim at any given time, since they can convert. (It has happened, and will continue to happen.)

No, that a fantasy-world-based "solution" for the reasons I pointed out.

You want a foolproof, reality-based solution (as opposed to unfounded wishful thinking)? Exterminate all human life on Earth. I guaranteee that that will "reliably result in ending muslim terrorism." And it is the only solution that is sure to do so.
