Right wing domestic terrorist group "the oath keepers", who claim to support the constitution but who actually routinely violate it, have said they are going to Kentucky with their guns. They say they will "protect" the bigoted criminal attention wore if police come to detain her again for breaking the court's orders.

The right truly has gone insane since Obama let get away with threatening violence if the law was enforced.

In his defense he really is more of a christian authority figure than a legislator. It is really not his fault we have to listen to him from the position of a potential leader. Apparently Davis has requested they not to do this, and they are honoring that, citing that she may be either confident of reaching an accord or intending to passively resist. Their members have been told to save their gas dollars for other missions, like an upcoming border patrol.

More like she knows the local police and she does not want to put them in that sort of position. The oathbreakers are looking for a shootout, and though this davis lady might be a homophobe I do not think she wants those gun nuts getting involved. It at least shows me that there is a bit of sense in her. I was actually worried she might accept their help, and I am glad to see she has made it clear she is not about violence. It restores a bit of my faith in the system. Even though it may take some time there is not a need for violence like what happened with the guy who shot the reporters. I may not agree with some of the things about the millenials, but I do think they will clean up a bit of our culture junk. I have to say there has been a growing hope inside me for the future which I really had lost in the Bush years. I look at my nephew and he doesn't have any of the gender hangups my generation had, and latino and black kids are just other kids to him. I am hoping the other people in the office take over the duties of issuing marriage licenses and she doesn't have to. Seeing as she doesn't want violence over the whole thing I can live with the slow death of the hate and the inconvenience of it all.
