Obama has closed to within 3% in latest Rasmussen poll in California...

Huge number for just one month!

    This one's going to be a nail-biter.

Obama seems ascendent just as Hillary's looking like less and less of a lock.

Not sure how I feel about this either way, but one thing's clear: this election will make history because it will be either a woman or a black on the top of a major party's ticket.

Tuesday night is going to be a lot of fun for us political junkies. I've already been invited to a number of parties to watch the numbers come in.

It might end up being more exciting than the Super Bowl.

If Obama wins can we finally stop hearing about how blacks are kept down by The Man since The Man will be one of them?

I'm okay with Obama being president if I can go the rest of my life without hearing about how bad blacks have it because of me.

I think that is why they're going to lose.

On a serious note, if Obama wins the nomination and the Presidency, I think it would be wonderful to see some of these racial divides start healing in this country. There is still a lot of racial tension in this country and if there is possibility to really see a change in that, it would simply be amazing to see that happen.

I think the country's racial divides are a lot better off than the racial divides exposed in the Democratic Party last month.

If either Obama or Clinton win, someone will be having a hundred beers.

    Exactly one hundred.

    Edited for accuracy.

After the disaster that is George W. Bush, I don't think there's a chance in hell that another white Republican male could get elected to the Presidency this decade.

The problem Obama is going to run into in Cali is the exact same one he ran into with Florida. A large portion of the ballots in those states were cast by mail when Clinton had a huge lead. I'm sure there are quite a few people that would like to vote for Obama now, but already voted for Clinton.
