Off to Gatlinburg

Hey all, I'm just at home for a few minutes, I'm off to Gatlinburg, TN this weekend for an Explorer Competition, will try to have pics when I get home Sunday

I'm a member of the Police Explorers, its controlled by the BSA and is for Teenagers who are intrested in Law Enforcement, and related fields. Each post is sponsered by a different state, city or county police force, mine is Holly Springs, Georgia.
Theres also Fire/EMS Explorers, Vetranary Explorers and Lawyer Explorers

At comptetions they'll set a mock sitation and will test how we'll handle it, some are Domestic Distrubances, Hostage Situations, Traffic Stops, Room and Building Searches, and an unknown distrubance.

Alright I'm off I gotta be at the PD in an hour.

Course, I'd be temped to guess a mock trial, but with American litigation culture I think a mock fleecing is more likely

Tennessee is nice. I plan on visiting again.

Anyway, it's nice to hear about young people involved in law enforcement in a positive way.
