Anyone know where I can 'acquire' a copy of Microsoft Works? Quickly. I need to open a .wdb file and there is no way to do it with Office, IMO. Suggestions are welcome.
The only way to open .wdb is with works. There are no MS or 3rd party .wdb viewers like there is with MS office files. So... try the usual places
This is a possibility. A free-to-try MS works file converter http://software.techrepublic.com.com/download.aspx?docid=216338
Worked! Everything I read said there was no way to covert... odd. Anyway, the trial version removed some of the cells but I had the mixed up text in free text format anyway so I could add the necessary back in. Tremendous.
Id just like to say it took me at least 20 mins of bored-nothing-to-do-at-work time to stumble across that. I had about 50 winders open and was clickin all over the place trying to find some way to open it. Im surprised MS hasnt released a viewer, you can get them for all office programs and most other stuff
Yes I had a look but when I read stuff saying that unlike most Works files there was no converter for .wdb I gave up... Much appreciated!
