So what happened with this? Turns out there was no other name. There was no "trafficking." They actually spent months specifically investigating trafficking for this case, using carefully installed hidden cameras and they could find no evidence of anything beyond pedestrian sex work. Even the 'bosses' were prostitutes, no Heidi Fleiss hollywood madams here. Maybe they got a money laundering charge or two, I don't recall. [main source has been Brown, at Reason]

A big nothing story, wonder where the lie originated about all that other hyped up headlines and clickbait? Was it just to crowd out Smollet story (little did they know Jussie would find a way to lie his way to unpopularity and public disdain)? My guess would be shit journalism over lying or grandstanding prosecutors. Although these days everyone claims "trafficking" - maybe a cry for attention?

I wish they wouldn't. Why? Why is it important to release this tape to the public? Do we really need to see it happening? No. No we don't.
