Anyone got a good free pdf decrypter they can recommend?

All the ones I have found so far only unlock your first page, they want you to pay (fair enough) to get the rest of the document unlocked.

I have some good .pdf tools, but I'm not sure what a pdf decrypter or cracker is. Can you explain more?

I have a pdf which is locked up. No printing, selecting, copying etc.

I want to be able to print it, and select and grab some elements from it.

I have looked around and checked with some buddies, and we're not seeing a good free program that can handle the latest versions.

However, if you can view the entire document, take a screenshot and import it into an OCR program - there are PLENTY of free OCR programs out there.

Not exactly what you asked for, but a workable solution.

You do it like Johnny Mnemonic, you get inside the file, reach in, grab open the seams, and puuuuullll, and it'll bend open, and the password will be inside for a split second before it snaps back like an elastic, then, you rewind, freeze the mental snapshot of the password, crop it out, and image paste it in, and bam.

This is also a great solution if you need n excerpt from a book you're reading on your iPad or iPhone Kindle.

Instead of a screen grab, use the Snipping Tool that comes with Windows, you can select the portions you want with it.

You can ini windows 7. Many people use xp.

Besides, the snipping tool is just making taking a screenshot easier.
