One of the managers had a group shot of his department taken. He asked me to... dress it up a little.
Here's the birthday cake I made for the, now, 8 year old boy. Completely from scratch - except the cake topper of course. That will be put on the cake after I get the cake to the party.
This is pretty old, but I just came across it. Maybe 20 years ago, I took Mary up to Olde Rhinebeck Aerodrome in NY state. They have a weekly airshow with WWI and 1930s planes. Mary got her first airplane ride ever in an open cockpit 1929 Standard 4-seater biplane.
COOL! Special trivia side-note: Hugh Hefner often takes his dates on similar activities to impress them. Here's a pic of Hef's latest:
Hopefully gonna get some pictures done tomorrow...That is if decide to get dolled up Or if there is a cool background Or maybe I will get to lazy Who know Lol. What a icky morning Dont feel well and hungover Thought this one was funny, my buddy says I give him the worst faces right before he tells me something I dont wanna do.... and he made it into a portrait for me, so that I try not to scowl at him
Moxie loves her new brother, Cairo. Actually, this was just before one of their many battles, but it's a cute picture.
My most recent, at a little get together for my friends birthday. I'm the well dressed one. This is me in College, after smoking a couple of blunts and playing some football in the parking lot. I'm sporting my old Navy Utility Jacket and coveralls, It's not prison wear. This is my little man and I, about a month after he was born. I really miss him being that small.
Vapor trails over the house this evening. Lots of them! I wonder where the hi-altitude traffic is coming from. I'm only about 20-30 miles inland from the coast, and the vertical slashes were coming from the southeast. Flights in and out of Newark are low enough to read their freakin' numbers here. Had to be transatlantic flights.
Had an epic couple of days skiing up in Whistler, BC this past weekend, it was like summer out there: One of those times where the world feels like your playground.
Biggest thing I ever designed that was actually made - this is a 20-foot wide world map in the company colors, with a flag stuck on every country we have a customer in. It's gracing the wall of the main auditorium. It was made by a theatrical prop/sign maker, milled out of dense foam. It's about an inch thick, and the land rises another half inch. The flags are separate, on little wood block, and velcroed on.
Hmm, it looks like the eastern tip of Russia is too far south; it looks like the western tip of the Nome peninsula is further north when it's to the south.
A robin has been attacking its own reflection our windshields since 8 AM. It's now 11. Mary moved her car to the end of the driveway, and it swicthed to my car! I put blankets over the windshield, and it switched to the side window. Can't shoot the fucker without hitting the car. Who fed the damn thing halucinagenic drugs?
