Currently on a trip to South Carolina, staying at an Airbnb. I think he's having the best time of anyone.
no doubt! A lot of dogs love to travel. New smells, new people to pet them, maybe new treats to eat - traveling is awesome!
Went to the saddest zoo ever yesterday. Half the animals went on display, and the half that were were sleeping or just looked miserable. But did see these turtles, they match the sizes of the rocks they are on
maybe because it was hot as hell yesterday, depending on where the zoo was located. I learned not to go to the Phoenix Arizona zoo during the daytime in the summer - even the African animals are holed up tight in the shade. But the zoo is open at night which is a great idea.
One of the cats, there's three, and one of the kittens, there's four, at the Airbnb we're staying at.
Built anudder Nazi jet concept that never got past the drawing board. This is Messerschmitt's project P.1107 long range bomber. The swastikas have been Facebook-safed, BTW.
a little off-topic but if the war would have dragged on long enough (or if Germany had started developing innovative aircraft just a bit sooner) we might have had a really rough time keeping our air superiority!
All these "Luft '46" what-ifs depend on speculating that Germany held on for a couple more years, but luckily, there just weren't no way that was gonna happen. But the designs look cool and are fun to build.
Nice, you even put in the heat shimmer from the engines. At first I thought that was a real photo of a plane.
I've never seen one period before that I remember. Are they cargo or passenger? Military or civilian? Foreign or domestic?
Burt Rutan's airplanes are almost all private passenger models, like a Piper Cub. His company is called Scaled Composites and makes/made multiple types, a large number of which can be bought as kits and home-built. They also make heavy use of graphite composite materials in their construction. VariEze, VariViggen, and Long EZ are some of the designs. He's also done other work on stuff like Virgin Galactic's Spaceship One.
The pup at lunch, was at a restaurant that I would go to about twice a month before the pandemic, started gong there again recently. I prefer to dine on the patio since I can take the doggy there. He loves it there.
Spring is yellow season in Wisconsin. Unfortunately I think this example was all ragweed. Tink thinks she has it made. Spring is also purple season in Wisconsin.
