So we were at the farm fixing up our pump sprayers to kill some weeds, when this guy started showing off. He was spraying the crops on the other side of the tree line.
Geometric Models' "Nightmare Duel" from the 7th Voyage of Sinbad. I replaced the base with a more solid plank, and an old kitchen tile that had a nice stone pattern. I added the brazier, with gravel for charcoal. As always I point out I'm an airplane modeler who likes to try figures now and then, and I'm not good at faces (hence no closeup of Sinbad!).
Ya know, the "invisible IR flash" on this trail cam is sure bright. Would'a been a great fox pix if he'd come by in daylight.
I recently won a photo contest put on by a local meat market so I used the $50 to get another couple of steaks.
Mary: You're going to behave on this walk, right? No eating rocks, no chasing birds, no pulling. Ellie: Whatever, Mom.
Mary takes the dog for a walk while my lazy retired ass sleeps in. This is our good-morning ritual after I drag myself out of bed:
Keep it up and you'll get hired by a food magazine. ... not to go into too much ... tmi detail, but I've not been able to eat lately, looking at food makes me nauseous. Food commercials, restaurants, all of it. even candy commercials are enough to set my stomach roiling. But, you do take very good photos. If your food tastes as good as it looks, your wife is a very lucky woman.
She's actually a really good cook, she just doesn't like doing it. Plus she's much better with side dishes and such and not meat courses. I take okay still photos. I know what I want them to look like and I just make it happen. I do need to upgrade my camera, though. It's really starting to show its age.
Good luck to her. I fell in love with still shooting when I was in college, but when I got laid off from my first (and only) still photography job, I landed in teevee and found out I liked motion pictures better. In other news, I got wood today.

My dog tends to get tired on long walks, bought a stroller for him for when I take him on trips out of town where we can end up walking a lot. I think he likes it.
