some would argue that it's not a defense of capitalism that you can overcome the considerable expense of round-trip shipping by finding labor that's cheap enough it can be exploited to accomplish all these:
(a) cover shipping;
(b) extend marginal savings to consumers;
(c) increase profit margins (because none of this effort would be exercised if it didn't increase profits)

I'm not a full bore socialist, I believe in regulated capitalism - but unrestrained capitalism often leads to exploiting labor, even if said labor is hidden on the other side of the world so we don't have to think about it.

TBH, I DO find those recently coined pronouns silly - not that people are attempting a gender-neutral pronoun (even though they/them is FINE) but that constant effort to work in an "x" - if you are crating new words don't make them pronunciation problems from the jump. Keep workshopping that until you get something more natural (like when they added Ms to Mrs and Miss)
