It's time for a new season of English Premier League Fantasy Football. You can get in the game at Premier League Fantasy Football Over two million players worldwide. Set up your team before the season kicks-off on Saturday, August 14. Join the Wordforge League, Code: 33051-18580. Ecky, our defending champion, has already entered a team. It would be great to have some new players this year.
Motherwell and Self Pity City are doing quite well tonight! Looking forward to seeing how the scousers do under Hodgson - on one hand I want them to do well as I like Hodgson, on the other hand I want them to do badly as I dislike Liverpool... Quandries. Not just for scrabble
Just home....... yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaasssssssssss!!!!!!!!! Mon the 'well!!! Realistically we are now as far as we will be getting, but we have hopefully just set up a money spinning tie in the playoffs against a monster team. Bring on the scousers, villa, germans or maybe even the Juventus!!!! Although Mallorca would be best of all. Theyv just went into admin so whoever gets them gets a free pass to the group stages europa league proper!!! Yaaaaaaaaaaasssssssss *Translation - my wee diddy team that I watch week in week out just got to the big boy round in europe!
England spared humiliation vs Hungary thanks to their only world class player. Well done Stevie, now play like that for the rest of the season and I'll be a happy man.
That makes him one game better than any other England player at the WC. Capello needs to keep Gerrard in the centre of midfield, drop Lumpard and we'll soon look a decent team again. It's a mystery to me why so many England managers, including Fabio, have constantly messed around our best central midfielder to accommodate those who are inferior to him, to the detriment of the team. Last night's events should hopefully convince Capello that building the team around Gerrard is the most likely way for us to get anywhere.
Not a bad start, as I had both Lampard and Malouda in, although I am regretting not adding Drogba as a striker - I thought he'd still be out... Nice one for Blackpool as well! Can't see them having too many days like today, but I wish them well
Blaaaaaackpooollll A team I suppose I should support if I ever actualy openly (or to think of it inwardly) admitted that I was born in Blackpool.
3-1 down... Ouch. Bet Redknapps going berserk in the dressing room. Anyway, Spuds should know it's Catholics, not Jews, who get to fuck the Young Boys
3-1 isnt too bad, they could very easily have been much worse off, the way they have played the first 45
Away goal and only a goal behind - still got a good chance. Villa, City and Next Year Is Our Year(tm) also did rather well tonight
Tell me about it. Is the team falling apart with the loss of MON and Milner? Is the presence of Stephen Ireland that toxic? Is the new kit bad luck? Are Newcastle for real? Why can't I pick a team and stick with it?
Tell me about it. I was in the biggest Motherwell fc boozer there is. There was no tv coverage so it was getting broadcast on the internet. The pub, (possibly highly illegally) streamed it on all the tvs in the place. The pub was rammed. I have never seen such mass hysteria in a boozer as there was when we got that away goal in the last possible second. Good times!
I watched tonight's match online at ESPN 3. Manchester City were vastly superior to Liverpool. The 3-0 score barely reflects the difference between these teams.
How could I anticipate our plans for the game would be thrown into chaos by Mascherano's no-show? That little Argie prick ruined the game plan! Although City were far better than I thought they'd be.
I'd point out that Blackpool have a superior points and goal difference to Liverpool Only after 2 games, but still amusing.
