Yea, they'll nail you with impersonation here as well.
You can throw on the fatigues and stuff, but the moment you add in regimental badges or any other identifiers, you've crossed the line.

So @Dayton3, given that your reason for wanting Trump gone over these was that it would hurt the Republicans, do you still feel that?

Because we still liked it (the US), we just didn't like him/his policies. The "Mediocrity-in-Chief" I called him during his nadir.

And there is a lot more to life than just the president. This country rocks.

Do I bitch about a lot (other than leftists)? Rarely if ever do I bitch about America.

The four Trump has called out bitch about America a lot. Thought this was pretty obvious, even if you disagree.

Are you guys serious that you can't see the difference? You're just fuckin with me, right?

That's the "innermost feelings" argument, done away with in post #16. Might as well skip ahead to the postmodernist "true meaning is indecipherable" argument, that one's always amusing.

^You're wrong about me pretty consistently.

I'd give you an 'F' in mind reading. Just to help ground you a bit.

Unless you're talking about effects, and not motives. Then I'd agree Trump is extremely effective at pushing certain buttons on certain people. And he's been using this (obnoxious) talent to great positive effect for both himself and country.

    More so.

Most righties HATE America. At least the America that actually exists. They hate that it is increasingly urban, multiracial, multicultural, queer and liberal.

Just listen to the contempt they hold for the majority of the population that lives in cities. The contempt for the liberal states that have the economies that fund their welfare states. They feel left behind and grievance politics are all they have left to cling to. This causes them to HATE the majority of Americans and thus the majority of America.

See also their support for the Slavers’ Rebellion that tried to break up America.

Why would he not tell Nancy Pelosi to go back to where she came from but felt it was ok to say that to AOC, Ayanna Pressly, Rashida Tlib and Ilhan Omar?

I had no special affection for the Confederacy of the Civil War.

To the other the America you describe is not the America that I was born into in 1967 or raised in during the 1970s.

    You can't legislate morality.

But in regards to laws in this country regarding personal conduct and how things are accepted by most of our society I can live with 1972.

There is no such thing as "Christian sharia law"

Are you suggesting that the United States operated under such laws as recently as the 1990s?

We have been through this before, that Sharia Law basically just means religious laws and while it is commonly used to mean Islamic laws it can also be used in different contexts.

That being the case, do you disagree that in the 1990s there were laws criminalizing homosexual activities actively upheld and enforced by Christian politicians?
