Here’s how you do it. Quinto Spock wants to return Prime Spock’s body. He figures out a formula for traveling to the future. Enterprise exists in this timeline so time travel is possible despite what the the Vulcan Science Directorate has determined. They jump to the 25th century where they encounter the Titan-A.
Nah, you do a straight up crossover with Lower Decks. Only the crew of the Cerritos doesn't realize who they met because all the goddamn lens flares.
STO is a video game. Ergo, non-canon. (Even though some elements of the game may show up in canon). JJTrek is a series of studio-produced films. Ergo, canon.
Guess it's as good a place as any to share my headcanon that Mariner and Dax fucked at some point. And if you're wondering if I mean Jadzia or Ezri, the answer is yes.
Canon consists of whatever rules the current powers-that-be promise they'll follow. I could buy the Trek franchise and declare that only the bar scene in First Contact is canon and you'd all just have to deal with it.
Exactly. And right now, Paramount/CBS (the current owners of Trek) only consider the on-screen stuff as canon. Doesn't mean that couldn't change in the future.
I tend to go with what The Great Bird said because he’s the creator and I don’t give a shit what Paramount or Kurtzman says.
