How do you think Mark Hamill would've been in the role?

One thing that probably , perhaps definitely , would've happened is had Mark Hamill been cast as Archer it would've drawn in a lot of Star Wars fans as viewers & fans of the show.

How is it that Kai Winn didn't immediately recognize Gul Dukat as a fake Bajorin?

My head-canon is surgically altered characters in Trek look radically different, but we the audience see the actor to make it easy.

This might not work, but ... is it possible that, despite being the prefect, Dukat never actually had all that public a profile on Bajor? Preferred to stay on Terok Nor, and didn't make a lot of public broadcasts? (It's really Marc Alaimo's voice that's unmistakeable.)

That wasn't the "A" in TMP. We first saw that one in Final Frontier.

And the guy who took and posted it? Worked on DS9, as well as some other Trek-related projects, and is also ex-NASA, not to mention works in the space science field (and has for probably close to 50 years now). His nerd credentials are as good, if not better than anyone who posts here.

That's from Canada's now-defunct Space Channel. I don't know him personally, but the guy with the petition travelled in some of the same friend groups as I did back in the 1990's. I used to see him at parties, but his name escapes me.
