The music does make the scene feel more dramatic and the sound effects make it seem like the instruments are more tactile. I remember when I first watched the Kelvin attack scene when Nero's ship exits the wormhole it sounded similar to the TOS music. I wish they would have done that more. Strange New Worlds does it sometimes and I love it.
I remember that opening scene and just loving every second of it. Folks have a lot of opinions about the newer films, but most still agree the first 10 minutes of Star Trek (2009) were phenomenal.
Maybe I've missed it, but I can't remember anyone making a crossover with Jellico and his musical companion. I wanna hear you squeal like a space pig!
Some has taken the Star Trek: Borg game, remastered it in 4K, and put it online. https://borgremastered.com/
I love Michelle Yeoh, I'm just hoping this isn't some kind of shitty "Section 31 is awesome here's why" movie.
It ends with them all "Section 31 is victorious, and will live forever!! JESUS NO!!! ". *Section 31 base is blown to bits with a transphasic torpedo* *Time pod de-cloaks* *The pilot is revealed to be Dr. Bashir from the future* Bashir-
I read that as transphobic torpedo at first. Then I started wondering if that is what they would use on a shapeshifter.
So I just watched "His Way". DS9 crew really took in stride what should have been an absolutely terrifying character. Vic Fontaine had all the same abilities as Moriarty, maybe even more. Moriarty couldn't transfer himself between holodecks. What an enormous security issue.
Imagine the problems the station would've had if Fontaine had been corrupted in that one Season 7 episode and not just his location.
