I haven't really watched it but the clips on youtube seem kind of fun.

One thing caught my eye though with this sidekick character... is she supposed to have been Canadian?

I can't remember ever having read a novel (series) and then saw it adapted for the screen as well as Reacher.

I don't mean particular plot points, but the guy you see in your mind's eye as you are reading - it's EXACTLY that guy in the TV show. I thought it was great.

I tend to like the cocky good guy character, Raylan Givens, John Reese in Person of Interest, and Reacher. Not cocky as in being a wise-ass for no reason but just supremely confident in his ability to take you in whatever confrontation.

I like this series and am looking forward to S2.

The guy who plays Reacher isn't the greatest actor in the world, but the show is entertaining and fun.

You would prefer maybe Tom Cruise in the role?

Oh, no. I never bothered watching his Reacher films because he doesn't physically match the character.

I own a German Flecktarn-pattern field jacket but it doesn't mean I served in the Bundeswehr. :bergman:

Gen Xer... we all have or at some point had one... but did you slap a us flag on it? Wardrobe dept fucked up :D

otherwise, these things are great to carry beers in. the waist pockets have smaller compartments originally designed for FN magazines that conveniently are about the same size as a can.

    Oh, I get it.

Don't get me started on equipment/uniform fuckups in teevee shows and movies. My family doesn't like watching stuff with me because I grumble too much.

I really enjoyed the beginning of it, and I think the actor is absolutely spot on casting. He doesn't have a lot of emotional range, but then, neither does Reacher. :D

The end was a bit bang bang shoot em up for me. As a lot of the rest of the show was pretty damn smart I was hoping for a little more there.

But I still really enjoyed the show and am definitely going to watch Season 2.

He's called Reacher, but you'd need arms ten feet long to give him a reacher round.

Much like Cavizel. The luck for both men are that both Reacher and Reese are written almost entirely within their narrow range of acting ability.

gave in and started watching it.

obvious fun, watching for local locations... I think the town square of Margrave is the same one as the planet they found Scotty on (Which is just off of the Kingsway near Royal York road).
