Reactionary Radical Eliminationists vs. Trans

I’ve seen a lot of videos of people that have had the new vagina surgery and they have some serious regret, because every day they have to shove something up their new “vagina” to dilate it to make sure it doesn’t shrink or close. This apparently is not a pleasureable experience, it sounds like it really sucks

Different surgeons have different dilation recommendations and it really matters if you're getting regular penetration via other activities

But the discomfort and inconvenience is largely in the first year (or less) - when you get to the point where a sex toy accomplishes the purpose then you're good unless you are in the relatively rare crowd wh don't regain sensation.

Also? As a general principle folks tend to be more vocal about what's bugging them than to say "nah, everything's good" so don't be fooled into thinking that complaint is common. Among the trans women I interact with regularly online, including many who are posting about having just had their surgery recently, I can't recall the last time I saw one bemoaning the difficulty of dilation and I've never seen one who said the equivalent of "if I'd know I would have had the surgery."

I HAVE seen a FEW testimonies from women who had their vaginoplasty botched and had complications, but all surgery is going to have a small proportion of people who got a poor job for one reason or another.

Also, a lot of dilation schedules are...out of date. 20 years ago (roughly) most all surgeons would require 3 or 4 a day for the first few months and several times a week basically forever...but as the procedure has become more common, it's not unusual for trans women to report that after a time they basically quit dilating (medically)

Again one assumes something is going in their every few weeks or so for the sake of pleasure, but that's not the same as dilation sessions. Some surgeons have revised based on newer knowledge but some play it safe and stick with the more rigorous recommendations.

The surgeon I was working with had a heavy schedule (but I didn't get to do that because the logistics of hair removal and time inpatient was something I couldn't pull off) but I'd already sorted in my head that I had no intention of doing that much that long. Guessing the unhappy folks you saw may include people who's Doc gave them a rigorous schedule.

But yes, for the first couple of months no one is having fun with that.

You have seen a lot of videos? Now, that must make things true if you saw a video on the internets. It would be nice if there was something they could invent that would let you link to these amazing videos so we all could see them. I guess we will just take your word for this, and maybe in the future you might want to cover what is "a lot." Did you see 50 videos, or maybe 20 videos, or was it over 10? Did you see any videos of happy people who had gotten their surgery?

I would also say that this is some major surgical alteration. There is probably going to be some sort of physical activity you have to do to properly heal. I am pretty sure most decent doctors will tell you about the hardships, and if you are going to do thgese things, you need to do your own research. This isn't the 1980's anymore. You have a huge resource in the internet that you should use to get an idea about SRS and HRT before you just start doing them.

Finally, if people do not do that, then tough tittie. Just because some idiots out there go jumping into certain surgeries without doing the proper investigation and thinking does not mean you get to be their babysitter. Where the fuck are all of you with the thousands of cosmetic surgery procedures being done daily that cause regret or problems? Why is it just trans people you give a fuck about stopping? Maybe if you had some actual concern about the world of body modification in general I might take you seriously, but the only reason you give a fuck is some trans people might regret it.

Guess what, eventually that is their problem and their mistake to make. Are we doing anything about the sexualization of cis women that causes they to do things like put pounds of implants into their chests? People are injecting paralytic bacteria into their faces, and chemically melting the skin off their face for beauty. They are injecting silicone. Are you out there worried about that shit, or do you just say stupid is as stupid does and go on with your life?

If we need to talk worried about people you have spent the last few years religiously repping my posts in a way that can only be described as psychologically compulsive and damaging. Should we be having an intervention because we are all so worried about you making a mistake and wasting your life on a dedication to repping me, or should we all just not pretend to give a fuck about your wellbeing and let you go on clicking the button for fun because it is your life to do with as you please?

I am just wondering what @Ten Lubak is doing watching all these videos about post op trans vaginas. He was one of the leading supporters of codifying a ban on abortion medication and does not like birth control being issued to anyone including women.

As much as I hate Trump and know he is a cheating financial disaster for the US, he is the one who only lies about adhering to christian moral values to please his voters. Joe is the True believer. Both of them will be free of the need for re-election after next election. Joe wants to get into heaven and being the one who legitimizes any GLBT protections angers his sky god delusions. He is in heaven's waiting room and he thinks god is watching him.

Just remember the next four years of Biden we will be lucky to get anything on a federal level, and if the right wing wants any restrictions on GLBT rights we are first to go because he hates us. GLBT pissed away an opportunity for a good candidate for Joe Biden. We are fucked either way for the next four years.
