Rick and Morty's Big Vocal Switch Feels Almost Shockingly Seamless If you read the article, you'll notice that the episodes they viewed didn't have any credits, so we have no idea who the voice talents are. I wouldn't be surprised if AI was used for parts of it and they're just not willing to admit that until the strike is over.
I'll reserve final judgment until I watch a full episode. Until then, I stand by my observation that, based on what I've seen, it's very close but not 100%.
It seems like the new voice actors are kind of toned down a bit; less enthusiastic, like if Abusey McCancelled took a Xanax before a recording session. Which, I guess makes sense. It takes more effort to mimic a voice someone else created than to speak in a voice originated by the speaker, which leaves less available effort for being enthusiastic about a role. Or it's AI, which also makes sense. Probably doesn't matter much. Even if they used Stephen Hawking-style text-to-speech to do the voices it probably wouldn't take away from my enjoyment of the show too much.
Now that I've actually watched an episode, Rick and Morty sound slightly different sometimes, but whatever. Seems they were less picky about the other characters. Mr. Poopybutthole sounds weird, and Bird Person isn't deadpan enough. The show is now 4% less enjoyable.

Ok… I know this one will seem like a forgettable episode for most but I really enjoyed it. Rise of the Numbericons will probably end up being one of my favorite episodes. Not only is it a sequel to S3’s Get Schwifty, but in addition to this reality’s version of Ice T, the real actual Ice T makes a cameo as his own father! And they keep flirting with him performing one of his first hits, Colors. It was almost over when I realized that this episode had no Rick in it.
The fandom of rick and morty probably goes up in direct proportion to how much seratonin is in the brain. It is probably not surprising that this show has become so popular in the age of SSRI's.
Rewatched episode 3 the other day. Air Force Wong. There’s a throw away alien character in it that totally predicts Rick’s death by Big Foot in episode 9.
A Rick and Morty anime should bring the toxic fanboi's to the yard. How long until Morty is wearing panties on his head and Rick is dating a 1000 year old nympho who looks like she is thirteen? Go right for the jugular and make it the next season of panty stocking. The only reason to put anime in there is to make better looking boobies.
