TLS and FF sure are stumbling over themselves lately to show everyone what garbage humans they are Like, they really want us to know
I find it laughable that the biggest trolls on this board are trying to gaslight us into believing they are good people. You're an asshole, you've always been an asshole and you'll always be an asshole. Nobody believes otherwise.
Oh, so you actually don't think it's a good thing that US states are getting the ability to do things like this to women?
Because if you still do then it isn't a joke, it's just you finding the horrific consequences of the things you support funny.
Really? Because posts like this seem pretty clear cut in it being a good thing that US States can put laws like this in place and that it's those states inhabitants right to tell their neighbour to fuck off and die for the crime of having a non-viable pregnancy.
I think it's a good think that democracy is expanding in the states, but I don't support these draconian laws.I'm more in line with what Democrats used to believe, rare, safe and legal. I do support the people having the ability to decide what's best for their state, that is a good thing.
You think that @Ten Lubak being an asshole's in dispute? What you should be contemplating is why he's an asshole to you and say not me (board owner bearing no consideration) or Turkey.
Yeah, like was said, you think it's good that inhabitants of those states can make forced medical choices for women.
I think it's good that democracy is expanding. What those people vote for is their business. I may not always agree with what they vote for, but at least they have the choice. I thought you were all about democracy and pro choice, but apparently you want everyone to think exactly like you and you want to restrict democracy. That explains the mentality of wanting to turn Wordforge into a left wing echo chamber.
I also believe in people having rights, but I suppose that's hard for a "libertarian like yourself to understand.
I can be an asshole but still respect the rights of women and have a good moral centre You’re just basing your words there on your feelings and emotions, not logic. Crying because people say you’re in high school, give me a fuckin break lol And I’ve tried to be reasonable with you in the past but frankly you do nothing but fuck it up and fall further down your QAnon rabbit hole
You apparently think there are no conservative women who are pro life and support these type of laws. Should their votes not count, their voices not heard?
Their voices absolutely should be heard, which is why those conservative women should have equal rights to control their healthcare. Women having the right to manage their own healthcare doesn't come with a "unless the person forcing them to not receive life saving medical care is also a woman" disclaimer.
I completely support their right to not have abortions. Their "right" to force that decision on others, not so much. Modern conservatism in a nutshell: When they say "Don't tread on me," what they really mean is "Don't get in the way of me treading on other people."
In as much as they force their views and morals onto others and restrict access to them, no, they don't. Otherwise I can argue for the right to have conservatives silenced and fight for it. And you would be fucking right to be against that.
It's good to know that if 50.01% of the voters of his state voted for the "mandatory bone marrow donation by white men act" @Federal Farmer would champion it as a victory for democracy and those voters rights.
Missouri's abortion ban has made it nearly impossible for miscarriage patients to obtain mifepristone, which is used in medication abortion, but also necessary to treat some miscarriages. Women suffer immense pain because they cannot access the drug. They Had Miscarriages, and New Abortion Laws Obstructed Treatment - The New York Times (nytimes.com)
Here's the account from a New Orleans doctor, who was told by her hospital's lawyer she couldn't perform a D&E on a 16-weeks-pregnant woman whose water broke. Instead, she went through a "painful, hours-long labor to deliver a nonviable fetus, despite her wishes"
If your point is "those women can go to a state where they can get an abortion," then again, it should be pointed out to you that not every woman can afford to travel, that fresh on their victory, there's already is movement afoot to prevent women from traveling to procur3e abortions and movement to a nationwide abortion ban.
This is the problem with banning medication based on feelings. Medications have purposes aside from the reasons you think are icky. I am assuming if we ban the hard on pills called viagra there would be problems with people who need them for other medical purposes than grandpa needs some wood. This is why you do not let crazy fantasy people ban drugs based on their RPG rules. This goes for any religion.
