I love analysis like this, because it just makes him look like one of those "white people are the ones really being discriminated against!" idiots.

Because that what he is saying. If Obama got a majority among all the groups other than white males through handing out gifts, then that is implying they were the only ones overlooked. Or he is saying they were the only ones smart enough to see through it.

It's basically the "47%" routine all over again.

Another thing is. it's not as though Mitt wasn't offering gifts. He was. Things such as tax cuts, a balanced budget amid no specified spending cuts (except for PBS and Big Bird and maybe a handful of others).

I do wonder, though, if Romney actually believes these things or if he's just trying to do a sales job to people he believes will believe these things. I would imagine that they collectively want an explanation for why the (my estimate) $1 billion they spent didn't get it done. "The 47 percent did it!" is an ok explanation on a superficial level in that regard.

Also, it's really a sad state of affairs that the major parties can and will spend that much for a presidential campaign, and that kind of money isn't put to better use in service of God knows how many more significant goals.

Good point. All those billionaire donors didn't want any gifts from Mitt Romney at all.

You can get it if you're not black, but you have to be dressed like a NBP member and give the guy handing them out a terrorist fist bump, otherwise you're just another one of those white people who all look the same and probably voted for Romney.
