Yes. People have access to a much wider range of information and opinions. However it is noticeable how one side of the spectrum has used this to create their own echo chamber increasingly divorced from reality. You simply can’t say the same about the left. Their alternative to conservative talk radio (Air America) failed. There is what, Daily Kos and the Beast and HuffPo but they don’t have nearly the reach as Daily Caller, Breitbart, the Blaze, Newsmax, OANN, etc. etc. And even that comparison is doing a disservice to the lefty websites who while left leaning still operate in reality. There is no ‘both sides’ in terms of news consumption/echo chambers. Folks in the center refusing to acknowledge that reality is a huge part of the problem.

That is a statement on permanent space in your head. I remember years back the head of the WBC died. For the life of me I cannot remember his name now. I had a good dance and party on his death, but I do not celebrate it every year. I do not even enjoy the silence of not having his stupid protestors saying god hates fags as much as I probably should. Rush will be the same way. There may be something else to hate, or someone different, but he is gone. We are not going to hear his new comments. We are not going to have to confront his hate anymore. In a few years we might not even remember who he was. It is a great reason to party because he cannot pop back up into our sight anymore.
