Was replying to a Tweet (still hate that term) yesterday and it was about the TERFS trying to say "nice sounding" things based on making an distinction between post op trans women and those who aren't (in the context of their war against the GRC) and I pointed out that it wasn't very healthy for them to be so invested in a penis/no-penis framework to begin with but also that it's not a fair frame because a considerable portion of trans people CAN'T have surgical intervention (because health, finances, logistics, etc) and their take on those people is "Hey! Sucks to be you penis-haver!"
