Ok, I'm going to have to ask you to step away from the keyboard, drop your mouse, and keep your hands where we can see them. There are limits that must be respected here...
It pisses me off to read that. And to know that he has an excuse for every one of those comments and he will blame someone or something else. Also why is the nest of murder hornets found in WA??? Does everything have to happen here?!
we want to know everything. How you feel. Bowel movements. O2 levels. Don't leave out any details no matter how disturbing. Didn't we have a prize for the first positive? Tuck, what WF swag do we have in stock?
Pretty boring to be honest, I only got tested as a routine screening at work. No temperature, no cough, no sudden death, etc, my pulse has been elevated for a few days but I had been living off energy drinks and sleeping tablets as my sleep pattern was by necessity chaotic anyway last week. I'm a tad shaky but had just put that down to the comedown of the aforementioned drug abuse....
Are you sure? I mean, I've never actually talked with a dead person in order to find out if they're sure they're dead, so maybe you just didn't realize it. Probably ought to have that tested, too, just to be sure. Seriously, hope you do all right, man. And don't go abandonning the board for the next six weeks just for the fun of it, or you'll have us all in a panic.
Yes yes, and give us your next of kin's contact so we can spoof them, i mean alert them if you go offline for too long.
I hope you receive the dead baby stem cell antibody cocktail cure that dear leader Premier Trump used to cure him and make him 20 years younger and stronger.
Some hope for an actual vaccine: AstraZeneca's COVID-19 vaccine produces an immune response in older people, raising hopes a vaccine will protect those at greatest risk AstraZeneca's COVID-19 vaccine triggers an immune response in elderly people as well as young adults, the drugmaker said Monday. "Immunogenicity responses were similar between older and younger adults," an AstraZeneca spokesperson said. The vaccine, being developed with the University of Oxford, is one of the world's leading COVID-19 vaccine candidates. This does not necessarily mean the vaccine is safe and effective — but it is promising news, given that the immune system weakens as a person grows older. Doubleplusgood? Developed in the UK by a multinational company in tandem with Oxford University. IOW, far more trustworthy than Gilead and Operation Warp Speed.
But do you get your daily rations of internal disinfectants? I have heard that alcohol is a good disinfectant, and that, at least, is indeed best taken internally...
Hey, he's a decent bloke but I'm not going THAT far. I might gently tickle my balls for him, but that's the line.
So, what changed over in Europe? Why are COVID cases going up with a bullet? Sweden, which seems to have the most lax COVID restrictions (judging by the general tone of media attention) seems to have the same rise as Germany, not as bad as the USA. France, Italy, and the UK, all of which have much stricter COVID restrictions in place compared to the USA, are far outpacing the USA in new cases. Chart below is normalized by population:
Speaking from a position of limited knowledge about the rest of Europe in the UK our numbers started rising shortly after we loosened restrictions and (possibly crucially) re opened schools. Too soon to assess the impact of the new caste tier system yet.
Europe's going up, but the US is not too far off and also spiking... And given where the US was when Europe WAS in a lull, it may get uglier for you guys - check the similarity in lag between the curves back in Mar-Apr and now...
I was a right git in February. At least I had the situational awareness to admit it after a few weeks. I'm not sure if tuttle has any.
