Sure. The slide, barrel, and internals are made of carbon steel. You an chrome those parts just like any other piece. You could even rhodium plate it if you really wanted to spend some big bucks.

Oh, I don't disagree. I'm a sucker for a shiny gun, but I've never actually owned anything that was chromed. Nickled and polished stainless? Yes. Chromed? No.

Never had the urge to own an ornamentally finished gun. I see things like gold-plated Desert Eagles and I cringe.



But, to each his own. I'm partial to bead-blasted stainless steel myself.



And finishes like Cerakote are another matter (provided they're not too outlandish a color), since they greatly improve the scratch resistance of the metal.

Those good guys with a gun seem to suck at being heroes. It is like they are never around when you need them possibly because they are too busy whining about teenagers who survive shootings and protecting confederate statues.
