So, given that I'm taking the EMR course right now I want to put my training to some use down the road and I thought Search and Rescue is a good start. Anyone have any experience with something like it?
I have a cousin who is in search and rescue around Grand Rapids, SD. He is a firefighter, but because of his passion for rock climbing and extreme sports he was recruited. Made a great combination for him.
Thats the interesting part. I have to buy my own equipment(a go bag basically)...which will cost about $500-$750 depending on what I want, but after that I basically get free training to do all that fun stuff.
