Well there is a difference between the Nazis at the TSA and the Secret Service. A big difference. For one thing Hillary doesn't have agents working in the TSA department waiting to whack Obama on her command.
I think it's obvious where Tex has gone. Our dear boy is currently in an abandoned warehouse in Ft. Worth, undergoing a brainwashing session that will turn this once fun loving Iraqi veteran into a stone cold killing machine. The voice of Bill repeats over and over, "Bill is the first black president... Bill is the first black president... " Think about it, military record, posts on a fringe political site, repressed homosexuality. Need I go on? Tex is the perfect patsy.
If I had to guess . . . Obama's people wanted to be sure the arena was completely full by the time the t.v. cameras went on. By 11 AM the floor level would have been full, so if the top level was secured from the lower level and well patrolled, there would be minimal risk from cutting off weapons' screening. I'm guessing this mostly because I find no indication anywhere that Obama's people were upset with this arrangement, and Obama's people, judging by his website's blog, wanted to be sure to pack in over 15,000 people--the number who attended his rally in Dallas last year--into a 17-18,000 seat arena.
Yup. At this point, Obama is only a candidate, and his staff has a lot more flexibility in telling the Secret Service how tight the coverage needs to be. If he were President, Secret Service would have the authority to do things by the book.
It sounds like a higher up in the SS should simply be fired. Checking the people for weapons, etc as they come in is a valid security concern, how fast the place fills up is not. This is there job and its not at the discretion of any of the candidates or the president or anyone else. They failed.
