Trying to sell my Nintendo Wii

It has outlasted its usefulness to me, and after playing through SSB:Brawl, TLOZ:Twilight Princess, Super Paper Mario, etc.- I've gotten bored with it. It is in prime condition and actually includes a couple of downloaded games: Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life as a King (including the add-ons), Super Mario Bros 2 and a top down RPG (similar to Zelda) from the Neo Geo (I think). Approx $45-50 added value right there. I'm also including Wii Play with the controller ($50), an additional nunchuck(~$10), classic controller (best used with the arcade games and SSB:B(~$20)) and a lan adapter (with 5 foot cat5 cable($25)). All told I'm only asking original price for the system: $250.

I have a few games I'm looking to offload too, Resident Evil: Umbella Chronicles $25, Super Paper Mario $30, Super Smash Bros Brawl $35 and at least a couple more I can't think of ATM. If anyone is interested I'll give you (wordforge) first dibs, but if no one is I was also wondering if eBay or craigslist would be better?

    Saved OP for posterity.

    Selling my Wii

I barely use the thing and really the amount of games that I want to play for it are pretty slim. I'd be willing to let any interested parties here get first dibs if they wanted to pay for it, and if nobody wants it I was wondering if I'd be better off on Craigslist or eBay.

There's a euphemism if I ever heard one. Just don't let your pimp take more than his share. ;)

What is even worse is that after reading the OP over again, nothing about it refutes the euphamism.

You might try Ebay's Half.com instead of Ebay itself. I shop there for most of my gaming needs; auctions aren't for me.

How much are you selling it for? Do you guarantee not DOA? What comes with it?

Actually just to make it all clearer- for $250 (and you pay shipping cuz I am cheap) you get:

    • Wii System w/ all necessary cables (AV, Power, Sensor Bar)
    • 2 Wiimotes
    • 2 Nunchuk controllers
    • 1 Classic Controller
    • Wii Sports
    • Wii Play
    • Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life As A King (WiiWare dled game)
    • FFCC downloaded content: extra missions, classes, and items.
    • Super Mario Bros. 2 (WiiArcade dled game)
    • [some RPG]2 (WiiArcade dled game)
    • 1 Wii Lan Adapter (better IMO than the wireless adapter)
    • Pre-Downloaded content: Everybody Votes Channel, Nintendo Channel and another I can't remember the name of.
    I also have for sale:
    • Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles (with which I will throw in the "Perfect Shot" periphereal)
    • Super Paper Mario
    • Suber Smash Brothers Brawl
    • [at least one other game I can't remember off the top of my head]

Not to crush anyone's hopes, but an offer has been made and unless it falls through my Wii may be spoken for ;)

This isn't a bad idea... I have a Wii I don't use much anymore, I bet I can turn a profit on it. (bring on the jokes :finger: )
