In Arizona one of the Indian Reservations is a different that the rest of Arizona but here's the twist - inside the confines of the huge reservation is another smaller reservation (different tribe) with a different time than the big reservation. The small reservation might use the same time as most of Arizona but I'm not sure. That's trippy!
Dayton Kitchens will play Terry Ferrell's lesbian wiufe in a new HBO series and he will Daenrys hand maiden.
My idea is starting to take off! https://www.bostonglobe.com/metro/2...andard-time/4T9tNuLYXX3rz3SKWMpkZI/story.html
Damn, I forgot about that shit - DST is a pain in the ass no doubt. Guess I'll do this before I go to bed.
I am firmly convinced that Daylight Saving Time exists only to make my life that much more miserable.
Politicians are starting to get behind my idea that New England should be in the Atlantic time zone, rather than Eastern! https://www.bostonglobe.com/busines...new-time-zone/64Q51rTWormBPTH7Ggds2O/amp.html
I forgot this happened... Just about everything is either networked or receives the NIST time over the air. Car clock and watch are all that's left. Wife worked graveyard at the hospital (pun intended). They had 13 hours instead of the normal 12. Oscar got locked in the pantry. He wasn't happy. His calls for help woke me a couple times but I ignored him.
I want to just stay on Daylight Savings Time for good. Because I'm so close to Eastern time, it'll be completely dark here at 1615-1630 for most of the Winter.
I like having daylight while I drive to work. I get off work by 3:30 anyway so I'm never driving home at night no matter the time of year.
Kerist, already? They could at least stop calling it Daylight Saving Time as if it's an anomaly vis-a-vis "Standard" time, which hasn't been standard for years...
Either way, this stupid, inane practice needs to end. Days are longer in the summer, shorter in the winter. Screwing with your clock settings doesn't change that. Pick one standard time and stay with it year round. Spring Ahead and Fall Back accomplish nothing but minor spikes in traffic accidents. Or as I recently said elsewhere, we are once again cutting the top off of a blanket, sewing it to the bottom, and telling ourselves we've made a longer blanket.
