IMO the best show on TV right now - as good as anything in years. Highly recommended. It's a cerebral thriller with fantastic writing, deep philosophical implications, and is often hilarious. The acting is excellent, and the attention to detail is phenomenal. Praise Kier, and please try to enjoy each fact equally.
Yeah it's pretty good. There's definitely some Lost vibes I get from the weird mystery of the innies' world. Like WTF is with this maze? The goat room? The wacko prizes? I'll take a waffle party!
Someone ask on Twitter "what's a great show no one is talking about?" and the first, like, 11 responses in a row were all "Severance" so I took the hint, and for a time I ask myself "am I watching this weird show because I'm really enjoying it or because I must know the exact nature of the weirdness?" Season finale was tonight, and yes, they paid it off. If you watch all nine episodes you'll find the payoff worth it.
as an aside, my answer to that Twitter question was "The last Days of Ptolemy Gray" and I stand by that. Quite a good show.
