OK, so I did the whole "reset password" song and dance. Browsed the games, found at least one title listed in this thread, but in neither place I saw it was it FREE. In one place, it was listed at $14.99. In another, $1.49 (or thereabouts.) Nowhere was it $0.00, and I'm not giving a card number to Sony for any amount.

Uncle Albert, you have to go to the electronics counter at walmart, then tell them you're a playstation user and you want your free game.
    They'll give you a code.

If you go to the "What's New" link above the playstation store, there should be a link to the "Welcome Back" program. Clicking on that should take you to the free games and whatnot. It's all grouped together in it's own thing, not out with the regular products.

Look in the banner labeled "Welcome Back."

I didn't see any fucking banner. I wonder if this is reserved for people who have purchased things in the PSN store in the past. I never have (or will) done that.

    ^
I actually had to do that.

Not because I didn't see the welcome back banner, or the welcome back category button (seriously Albert, WTF?) but because I was fooling around in the welcome back menu and then backed out with completing the transaction. The games disappeared and that's when I had to go in under the 'transaction management' menu.

Since I don't own a PS3 and probably won't, my account is on a friend's PS3. He got super stardust HD and Little Big Planet, and I got Wipeout and Infamous. Dead Nation just seemed boring from the footage I've seen of it.
