Been here since the beginning. It’s been a wild trip, especially in the first few years. I think my biggest contribution will be the massive TNG review thread. I doubt I will ever type that much about anything ever again!
Damn, those of us that are still here and have been from the start, we've known each other longer than most of the people in our offline lives.
Twenty years of and and not to mention and of course so here's to 20 years and who knows how many more?
Happy almost-20th, Wordforge. I've spent a lot of time with you assholes, and I wouldn't have it any other way. Now can we ban Packard already?
I found this place the week after ENT ended when I was 19. I've been here for just about my entire adult life. Dunno what to make of that, but it is what it is.
Been here since the beginning. Owned the place for a while. Met a couple of you in meatspace. I reckon it’s better than living in a van down by the river.
fun fact: when we started there was only one colour coded room, being red everything else was placeholders.
This place does have an interesting history. It is a little full of itself from as troll history standpoint, but It is certainly an interesting geek backend area. I had come into red room type discussion through anime and was much more connected to the chans at the time this place was created. I find this place interesting because if I had stayed in my original trek geekery instead of shifting to MMORPGs and anime I would have probably been trolling around trekBBS. Please do not whine about me bragging, I am just sharing why all your history actually interests me. I had been heavy into internet troll habits from around the start of the web in the mid to early 90's. I had searched out some information on trek on usenet but I had hopelessly fallen out of geekery with it after Voyager came out. It is interesting how I can feel young and old at the same time.
It is on that list of things I will do when I get the time. Somewhere below watching HunterX Hunter and the rest of Fairy Tale. It is not that I don't like it or want to, but there are just so many other things I like more.
Well, there was dayton. I agree most were not noteworthy at all, but if you do not remember the D man you might want to check for other stroke symptoms.
