https://www.cnn.com/2019/04/21/asia/sri-lanka-explosions/index.html wow.....story is of course unfolding as we speak. But since this is the red room: if only a "good guy with a bomb" were there it might have been prevented. what....too soon?
I would rather follow the religion of geese. This pigeon (far left in the crosswalk) has the right idea! They have deer beat six ways from Sunday when it comes to dodging cars!
Every religion seems to find good reasons to kill others. Having a god who conveniently hates the same people as you really makes it easy to do despicable things.
Considering it is an offshoot of the most deadly religion of peace, Christianity, they seem to be following your religion's lead.
Yes, it would be more accurate to blame religion in general. That’s why I do say I’m a Christian, but I don’t follow a particular denomination.
Religion itself is just a belief, it’s people who act on it. A good person will do good and say it’s religion that inspired it, the same goes for evil people. Religion just lets them convince themselves that it’s good.
If people do good in Jesus’s name, fine, so be it, but I believe morality exists without religion or god or government.
I hate to see all Muslims broad-brushed for this attack, and so far most people realize that it's the extremist/terrorists - as usual - to blame for this, full stop.
I would agree with that IF the vast majority of muslims would denounce these bombings. They don't. I'm sorry but that raises suspicion of the entire "religion".
White people don’t have to denounce mass shooters or domestic terrorists. Christians don’t have to denounce abortion clinic bombers. Men don’t have to denounce every single rapist or domestic abuser. Why should Muslims? Even suggesting this implies silent agreement.
Let us not forget most Muslims do denounce it. Just because some guy who never meets any of them does not hear it does not mean it does not happen. Does every Muslim have to personally send their denouncement to every islamaphobe out there so they get convinced?
