Whoa. Whoa.

I liked the flip and the spinning. It was weird and unique and worked well with the concept that the ship was teleporting through a magical mushroom world to get places. Even the Galactica had to "spin up" their jump engines.

Though they obviously needed a better phrase than "black alert."

there doesn't have to be - and shouldn't be - vast and unexplainable unused space through which a trubolift travels and unless it's key to the plot, we don't need to see the outside of the lift at all;
A ship that shapeshifts is just goofy and defies the laws of physics;
The Klingons didn't need to get EVEN MORE ugly;
Nacelles that aren't attached to the ship are stupid;

I'm sure I could add a dozen items to the list if I thought about it. I'm actually pretty pleased with the cast, the stories, and so forth - the core of the show. It wasn't great but it was fine. But I can certainly understand how people could just be exhausted from all the irrational clutter.

All of it was terrible except for the Klingons. I quite liked them.

And the majority of stories after season three were just poorly-written dreck.[/quote]
