The original Star Trek did just fine without any women in prominent roles. And no, Nichelle Nichols doesn't qualify. She wasn't even in all the episodes and was merely a bit player in most of the ones she appeared in.

I couldn't give you more than an educated guess as to the ratio off hand. I have had a couple of female bosses.

Depends on the circumstances. There are certain issues I do consider one or both of their opinions as "unimportant".

There are other circumstances where their opinions are more valuable than mine.

Ah yes. Four negative reps to my post yet not one actual reply.

My idea allowing a "fuck you" if one personal gives 10 or more negative reps in a single threat to someone else regardless of the forum is still an excellent idea.

I'm willing to compromise though. Instead of a "fuck you" if I may be allowed to issue a physical personal threat that would be fine.

So.... I saw in some io9 article that the uniforms are supposed to move closer to TOS style as the series progresses, but that explaining why is apparently a spoiler? That's a bit of a relief.

Oh, and Star Trek Online didn't get a license to include anything from Discovery yet. I'm told it took them a while to get permissions for Kelvin timeline stuff, so maybe there's hope.

Wouldn't it be easier for you to keep your opinions in the BR or start a blog or a website where the only thing you had to read was your own opinions? You can do that on FB and it won't cost you anything.
